What kinds of oil do you use in your restaurants?Updated 9 months ago

There are three different types of oil we use in our restaurants, each serving a different purpose: 


In our fryers, we use sustainably farmed organic palm oil (Palm Done Right certifiedfrom Natural Habitats. Organic palm oils are low in polyunsaturated fats, especially omega 3 fats, while being high in monounsaturated fats. This offers the best balance of nutritional benefits and stability at high temperatures. 


We use rice bran oil for sautéing. Rice bran oil has a high smoke point, making it great for use in the wok. It is also considered to be a good source of several vitamins and minerals, and contains mono-unsaturated fat. 


We use grapeseed oil for our salad dressings. Grapeseed oil is similar in many ways to olive oil, and provides a neutral base for delicious vinegars and flavorings to shine. Grapeseed oil is also high in vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties.
